Fundraising is a vital part of our mission to create positive change in our communities.

First and foremost is our dedication to our future leaders. We sponsor scholarships for graduating seniors at both Columbia County high schools – Columbia High School and Fort White High School – with an emphasis on health care. The Tami Lee-Lanier Memorial Scholarship Fund began as a donation from Tami’s mother and Club member, Stephanie Bennett, but will continue to be funded as one of our most worthwhile projects.

Preservation of our historic Club House and club history is significantly important because of the impact it has made on so many in our community. From serving as the first library to USO dances during the war years to weddings, baby showers, class reunions and graduation parties held today, the Club House holds many memories for those in our area. Bricks laid on the front porch are inscribed with achievements, memorials or just whimsical thoughts.

Food is a major part of our lives and many in our community support us through the purchase of bi-monthly lunches made by ladies in the Club. Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Chicken Salad Croissants, Chili Frito Pie, Chicken and Dumplings and even the Tax Day Relief lunch of Ham and Beans are very popular menu options for the Columbia County population. Or cook it yourself with the help of  “150 Years of Grits, Greens and Everything in Between,” a compilation of 600-plus favorite recipes from many families in the Columbia County area. More than 2,000 of the books were originally sold when it was first published in 2009 and more were reprinted in 2020.
